How long have you driven for RTD? Have you always been a bus driver?

22 years, 2 months, and 17 days (as of 08/25/22). I have had other jobs but since I have been working for RTD I have been a bus driver.

What were you in a previous life?

I was always a human being but before operating the bus I enjoyed being a salesperson of fine luxury Parisian carpets and rugs.

What do you like best about your job?

I like helping people. I don’t help because it’s my job but because it’s a duty human being to human being.

If you could listen to music while working, what type would you choose?

I enjoy reggae music and 80s hard rock. My favorite song is Hotel California by the Eagles.

If you could deck out your bus, what style would it be?

I would do 80s style decor.

If you could change your uniform color, what color would you prefer?

Well, I think I look like a janitor in standard the gray button up shirt. I would a black button up uniform shirt.

What type of service would you drive if given the choice? What is your favorite service to drive or operate?

I enjoy drive to the Airport on the Skyride or any Mountain runs. But my favorite run is the one that pays the best with the hours I want to work.
