RTD provides connections to voting poll sites and ballot drop boxes throughout metro area
Online resources include interactive map and trip planner for voting convenience
DENVER (Nov. 2, 2023) – The Regional Transportation District (RTD), which serves eight counties in the Denver metro area, encourages voter participation in the upcoming election by providing easy connections to polling sites and drop boxes throughout the metro area for early voting and on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7. Customers Voters can plan a trip to polling sites or drop boxes by using RTD’s trip planner or interactive map. Voters can also visit GoVoteColorado.gov for information about the election and tracking their ballots.
“With Election Day on Tuesday, I encourage voters to use RTD services to access ballot boxes and voting sites located across the Denver metro region,” General Manager and CEO Debra A. Johnson said. “Customers can use the RTD MyRide app, to map their trips and determine the most convenient location. Voting is a constitutional right, on behalf of the myriad of people that comprise RTD, we are honored to provide access to those exercising their civic duty.”
Ballots must be dropped off no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day (Nov. 7). Use this link to find the nearest drop box or polling center. In-person voting on Election Day will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There are a number of ballot drop box locations at RTD stations, including Iliff, I-25•Broadway, Southmoor and Union (near the E and W lines platform).
